Is your church or organization seeking trauma-informed training?
Leah Powley offers on-site, introductory trauma-informed care workshops tailored for churches, ministries, and community organizations. This training is uniquely developed and delivered from a victim’s perspective, at the same time as a survivor’s.
What This Training Covers
This foundational training introduces the core principles of trauma-informed care – an approach that recognizes the widespread impact of trauma and integrates that awareness into compassionate, effective support.
Participants will learn:

- How individuals typically respond to trauma
- The key principles of trauma-informed care
- Practical strategies for creating safe, supportive, and responsive environments
- Ways to promote healing, trust, and resilience in your community
Leah’s goal is to equip your leaders, volunteers, and staff with tools that foster understanding, compassion, and wisdom when supporting individuals who have experienced trauma.
Schedule & Fees
Training at your site will be offered on Saturdays (as available). These sessions take approximately 3-3.5 hours. Please contact Leah to discuss fees for this training as they may vary based on your specific needs.
