Learning to Breathe Again – Women’s Sexual Abuse Support Groups
You are not alone. Healing is possible. Freedom is real.
Our Learning to Breathe Again groups are safe, Christ-centered spaces where women impacted by sexual abuse can find encouragement, hope, and lasting support through the power of the Holy Spirit.
No wound is too deep, no story too broken for God to redeem. Together, we walk through 12 weeks of healing using the Shelter From the Storm workbook—sharing, growing, and strengthening one another along the way.
Come just as you are. Let’s take this journey together and trust God to do a beautiful work of restoration in your life.
Who:
LTBA (Learning to Breathe Again) is a closed* support group for women age 18 and up. It is for any woman who has experienced the trauma of sexual abuse — whether the abuse happened recently or many years ago. It is for those who are ready to find hope, healing, and freedom from the lingering effects of abuse, and who want to walk that journey in a safe, supportive, Christ-centered environment.
*A closed support group is a group where membership is limited to a specific set of participants. Once the group starts, no new members are added.
What:
LTBA is a safe, faith-based support group for women healing from the wounds of sexual abuse. Please note: this is not a therapy group. Together, we’ll walk through the book Shelter from the Storm over 12 weeks, offering prayer, encouragement, and support in a loving environment. While seeing a counselor in addition to the group is highly encouraged, it is not required. There is no fee to attend group, we only ask that you supply your own Shelter From the Storm workbook.
When:
Tuesday evenings from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm, starting in April and again in September, for 12 weeks.
Where:
LTBA is held in Souderton, PA
Why:
Because you’ve decided it’s time to heal from the trauma of abuse — and you’re ready to move forward, reclaim your true identity, and move from surviving to thriving.
How (Pre-registration is required):
Simply email Leah at the contact information below to sign up or ask any questions. She will contact you to help determine if you’re ready to join LTBA or connect you with additional resources for your healing journey.

Together, We are Learning to Breathe Again

Each woman holds a piece of her story – words that carry pain, survival, and truth. Though their faces are hidden, their voices are unmistakably present. These signs are not just statements; they are testimonies of resilience, of battles fought in silence, and of strength reclaimed together.
Kneeling and standing side by side, they form something powerful: a community that refuses to let shame define them. Where there was once isolation, there is now solidarity. Where there was hurt, there is healing in progress.
April, a month dedicated to awareness and prevention, becomes more than a symbol here – it becomes a living, breathing reminder that survivors are not alone. That their stories matter. That their voices deserve to be heard, honored, and believed.
This image is not just about what they’ve endured – it’s about what they are building: hope, support, and a future where speaking out is met with compassion, and where healing is possible.
